Source, onboard and manage third-party transport service providers while maintaining statutory compliance, competitive freight rates and SLA performance.
Key responsibilities
Recruit and onboard truck owners; verify RTSA roadworthiness/PSV licences, Goods-in-Transit insurance and ZRA compliance; negotiate transport contracts and SLAs; benchmark freight rates and fuel adjustments; monitor transporter turnaround, safety and delivery performance.
Requirements / eligibility
Diploma or degree in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain or related field; at least 1 year of transport procurement or vendor-operations experience in Zambia; sound knowledge of RTSA regulations, ZRA tax rules and local haulage routes.
